The sun shone brightly on the Sunday walking group today. 7 miles circular from Budleigh Salterton - through woodland, along the coast path, and down the disused railway line.
Dodged some golf balls, and visited Lady Nelson's tomb at Littleham Church.
Finished with lunch on the beach. The most delicious crab sandwiches from Fifty Degrees North.

We got to The Cowick Barton pub 30 minutes early and were very thankful for the warm log burner, hot drinks and good food.
Congratulations to the three new walkers who weren't put off by Storm Goretti.

Dodged the rain today on our 5 mile walk from Kenton to the Topsham Ferry. Hedgerows were heavy with sloes and blackberries, and a few apple trees with ripe fruit too. Hope that's not the end of the Summer?
