We are an informal and friendly group of people of all ages and abilities, drawn from Exeter and the surrounding area, who enjoy walking in the wonderful Devon countryside and further afield.

Thursday walkers enjoyed the sunshine on the 5 mile walk along Dawlish beach and the nature reserve. Lovely lunch The Mount Pleasant Inn Dawlish Warren with a beautiful seaview.

Completely forgot to take any photos during today's walk - so here are some from the recce! 3.5 miles along the lanes, through Blackalder Wood, and along the Lilly Brook.
A lovely lunch Kings Arms Inn and a well earned pint of Jail Ale. So good we had a second.

A long walk on Dartmoor today - 9 miles via stone circle, Kestor Rock (which we climbed up), Teigncombe, Gidleigh and more. We were glad of the shady bits!

Lovely 5 mile circular walk today from Castle Drogo via Fingle Bridge. Goldilocks weather - not too hot and not too cold! Fabulous views.
Lunch at the National Trust cafe but Fingle Bridge pub looks very tempting for another time!

The Thursday ramblers enjoyed 4 miles through Halberton village, and along the canal. A lovely home cooked Mediterranean quiche for lunch at The Swans Neck Cafe.
A little retail therapy at Halberton Court Farm Shop before the bus back to Exeter.

The sun shone brightly on the Sunday walking group today. 7 miles circular from Budleigh Salterton - through woodland, along the coast path, and down the disused railway line.
Dodged some golf balls, and visited Lady Nelson's tomb at Littleham Church.
Finished with lunch on the beach. The most delicious crab sandwiches from Fifty Degrees North.

Bluebells and rhododendrons aplenty on our walk today via Killerton, Danes Wood, and Columbjohn. The Highland cattle weren't as interested in us as we were in them!

Despite some hefty hail storms, we had a lovely walk through Broadhembury, Kerswell, Blackborough and Knowles Wood. Beautiful views and pretty villages. Good b**r at The Drewe Arms - Broadhembury nr Honiton to complete the day.

10 lucky ramblers enjoyed good weather and a mainly dry path. 8 and a bit miles around the Parke Estate, Lustleigh and along the River Bovey. Highlights along the way included Skunk Cabbage, and a May Queen Throne!
We rewarded ourselves with tea and cake at the National Trust café.
