Volunteers wanted! 🦔📷

On Friday 28th August, the Devon Mammal Group will be supporting the People's Trust for Endangered Species and British Hedgehog Preservation Society National Hedgehog Project at Wildwood Devon, one of the project’s survey sites.

We need volunteers to help deploy 30 wildlife cameras across Wildwood and the wider Escot Estate . It’ll be an all-day event and a fantastic opportunity to get involved in hedgehog monitoring and conservation across Devon. 🌿🦔

If you want to get involved, please email [email protected] for more information and to register your interest.

Hugh Warwick, author, photographer, ecologist and hedgehog expert, will tackle the thorny problems faced by conservationists, ecologists and land owners – how to manage the major threat to native wildlife posed by invasive non-native species. From the hedgehogs of the Uists to the rats of South Georgia - do we have a right to kill?
