Since 2021, BMO has helped children from Prior Weston Primary School spend a week with Farms for City Children.

Along the way, colleagues have climbed, cycled, abseiled and run to raise funds and support our work.

We're delighted to let you know that Farms for City Children will be benefitting from collections held at both performances of a magical festive concert at the Royal Albert Hall this December.

Based on our founder, Michael Morpurgo's book On Angel Wings, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy this magical re-telling of the nativity and sing along to favourite carols with the BBC Concert Orchestra, the National Youth Choir and a cast of actors.

Following the success of our summer accredited Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award residentials, we're delighted to offer a new spring week for 2027 at Nethercott House. The programme is open to participants age 16 & over and available to book now!🏅

During the week, you'll work with others to cultivate your own transferable skills as you undertake a range of tasks around the farm. Fresh air, beautiful surroundings and good food are all part of the package on offer! 🐮🥕🚜🍽️

We're looking for an Office Manager to provide essential administrative and financial support to our team on the farm, where children and young people experience a week of living and learning, connecting with food, farming and nature.

This is a varied and rewarding role, working alongside a committed team to help create life-changing experiences for children and young people.

⏰ 28 hours per week (work pattern to be agreed)

A truly special day in our 50th anniversary year. 💚

Yesterday, we were honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to Nethercott House - Farms for City Children, our original Devon farm, to mark our 50th anniversary. It was a truly wonderful day and we were delighted to be able to offer our thanks for her longstanding patronage and support.

We were especially proud to mark the day alongside our founders, Clare and Michael Morpurgo, whose vision and commitment have enabled more than 108,000 children to grow and thrive on our farms over the last five decades.

Her Royal Highness toured the farm, met children and teachers and saw the hands-on activities that make a week on our farms so memorable, from caring for horses and donkeys to working in our heritage walled garden and agroforestry project. She also spent time with members of our team, volunteers, partners and supporters, hearing about our plans for the future.

Thank you, Your Royal Highness, for helping us mark this milestone and for your continued support of Farms for City Children. 🌱🚜
