It is held every 1st Saturday of the month for those who have diabetes, for their family members, and friends who would like to know more.

We are thrilled with how successful our trips have been this year. Almost all of them sold out within the first 2 weeks of organising them. We are really grateful for your support and so glad that you are all enjoying the trips.

This week is officially Carers Week!

To celebrate this week we will be enjoying a special cream tea on Friday 12th June from 2.30-4pm at Trefoil Lodge, Buddle Lane.

We will be celebrating and spoiling all our unpaid Carers who are looking after family members, friends or neighbours with a special cream tea.

As one of our Carer Friendly Devon supporters, participating National Trust properties have kindly opened their doors (and gates!) to offer our registered unpaid carers (and one guest) a relaxing day out.

As you may be aware this week is National Volunteers Week.

This is a great opportunity for us to recognise and say THANK YOU to the incredible team of volunteers who help and support patients registered with St Thomas Medical Group.

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful team of volunteers, who give of their time and energy to help and support the League of Friends, which has made a difference to the lives of many patients.

In recognition of their hard work and dedication the Doctors treated the volunteers to an afternoon tea at Homeleigh Garden Centre, which was enjoyed by everyone who went.

Thank you again to you all, for your willing spirit. You truly are a great team of volunteers.

(As we didn't have a photo with all the Volunteers, we didnt want to miss anyone out, so we thought we would include a photo of the lovely spread of food which was enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to Stuart and his team at Homeleigh).

There is just over 2 weeks to go until our CARERS WEEK CREAM TEA

The Cream tea is being held between 2.30pm - 4.00pm at Trefoil Lodge, Buddle Lane on Friday 12th June.
