The Pony Club is a national charity, originally founded in England in 1929 but which has since spread to many countries around the world. See the main UK pony club website:

The purpose of the Pony Club is:
• To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding.
• To provide instruction in riding and horsemanship, and to instill in members the proper care of their animals.
• To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.

Junior Regionals International Tetrathlon /Triathlon is this weekend and 3 Silverton members have been selected to represent the South West!

Competing against the best in the country and Ireland, Lydia is in the Tetrathlon with Ella and Amelia in the Triathlon.

They also have to plan and present a show for an evening competition so there will be lots of fun!
