*BARBARA BROWN: a message on behalf of TVCH*
Most of you by now, will have heard the very sad news that Barbara Brown passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday and our thoughts are with Graeme, Keith and Phillip at this very difficult time.
After retiring from the Village Shop and moving up to the Linnet, as well as running the local Taxi Service, Barbara volunteered to take on the role of Booking Clerk for Teign Valley Community Hall, a role which she enjoyed and which she carried out with the utmost dedication for so many years.
She was also a Trustee of the Hall and a much valued member of the Committee.
Unfortunately, without a Booking Clerk, we are not able to run the Hall and we are therefore putting out an urgent plea for help, if not on a permanent basis, at least to tide us over and look after the bookings until we are able to find another volunteer. This will involve taking telephone and email enquiries, making booking entries on the hall calendar and sending out the monthly invoices.
