Meet KitKat, a beautiful 14-year-old cat looking for a peaceful forever home. 🐾

KitKat is a gentle girl who took a little time to build her confidence in the shelter, but she now enjoys fuss and attention from familiar carers. She is looking for a quiet home where she can settle at her own pace, with a room of her own to start with.

KitKat would prefer to be the only pet and may be able to live with a sensible secondary school-aged child, subject to a meet at the shelter. She would love a home with plenty of safe outdoor space to explore and enjoy.

💚 Continuing with our Zero Waste campaign… 💚

Changes to the textile recycling industry mean charity shops can no longer rely on rag companies to take damaged or unsaleable donations.

In the past, worn-out clothing and other textiles could often be recycled. Unfortunately, those days are gone. Items that are ripped, stained, mouldy or heavily worn now cost charities money to dispose of instead.

Before you donate, please ask yourself one simple question…

🤔 Would you buy it?

If the answer is yes, we’d love to receive it. ❤️

If the answer is no, it may be better recycled or disposed of through your local council rather than donated to a charity shop.

Every good quality donation helps us raise vital funds for the animals in our care, reduces waste, and helps ensure more of your generous donations can go straight towards helping the animals who need us most.
