Our Wombling group walked from Budleigh Salterton to Otterton Mill, pausing to sample the menu for cuppa & cake yesterday.

This week a group of us were lucky enough to tag on to our very own Grace’s Red Coat ‘Ghosts and Legends’ Tour.
Highly recommended.
We completed the tour with a trip to The Holt, complete with John & Martha.
If you know, you know……
Thankfully we survived any encounters, and Grace didn’t need to get the Holy Water out! 👻

More than 40 members and guests from WI in the City enjoyed an informative and entertaining cocktail-making experience at the beautiful Quayside Distillery in Exeter.
Owner George welcomed us and split everyone into groups. One group learned how to measure, mix and shake the perfect cocktail, choosing between a Pink Russian, and a French Martini. Meanwhile, another group discovered the science behind gin distilling during a fascinating tour of the distillery.
Those waiting for their turn made the most of the sunshine by relaxing on the distillery's own floating pontoon—a wonderful spot to chat, socialise and catch up with both new and old friends.
The evening was a great success, combining the chance to learn a new skill with plenty of laughter and good company in a unique setting. Our thanks go to George and the team at The Quayside Distillery for making us feel so welcome and for hosting such an enjoyable event. We look forward to returning for another memorable evening in the future.
