Our brand new sewing group starting today organised and run by our own volunteers with financial support from Exeter City Council via a ward grant from Whipton Councillors and locality funding from Devon County Councillor Ed Hill.

I’m back after annual leave and really looking forward to heading along to the first Whipton Sewing and Craft Group at Whipton Hall this morning.
The group will be led by wonderful Whipton Community Association volunteers, open to all levels and abilities. Today they’re keen to hear your ideas for future sewing and craft activities.

There are still spaces so come along, connect with others, and get creative! Wellbeing Exeter

Whipton Hall have now put tickets on sale for the children's storytelling sessions, these will be free and children who have a per booked ticket will receive a copy of the book being read. Tickets are limited so please make sure you book your place. Details on both can be found on their Ticketsource page www.ticketsource.com/whiptoncommunityhall

Due to a shortage in volunteers we have changed what we do to raise money for Whipton Community Hall, now we are hosting managed birthday parties. Where we offer:
Train play
Car Play
Silent disco
Under 5's soft play (our pop up play cafe set up)
Along with cooked food. This includes our volunteers setting it up, cooking the food and clearing up. All you have to do is turn up and enjoy your family time.

Please can you help us - Tonight we are hosting a Prom booking, please can anyone keeping/parking vehicles along the front of the hall please move so there is parking / pull in room for vehicles from 5pm onwards.
The students would greatly appreciate your help. The heat is a big enough challenge without having a longer walk in a Prom outfit.

A huge thank you to Rob of RS Garden Services who took on the task of clearing the path at the back of Whipton Hall today.

Although it is not our responsibility to clear the path we have paid for it to be done for the benefit of the community. Hopefully making the path more accessible and certainly improving the look of it. As a registered charity we rely on volunteers and fundraising to help carry out work around the community hall when we have to pay for it.
