Who is your Community Development Worker?
My name is Aynsley Jones and have lived in East Devon since I was a eight years old. On my travels I have been lucky enough to meet a great number of people who have shown me cultures, languages, communities and I have been blessed with them sharing their skills. I fully intend to put those skills to good use within Cranbrook by funding, connecting, communicating, listening and mainly a lot of doing, as our community grows together.
When a community works together it strengthens its relationships, resources, resilience and opportunity for positive change. Just one small step or one small action can grow into a series of changes which can improve health, wealth and aspiration. At times it may not feel like this but by reaching out we can improve our social surroundings and it may just be a snippet of information or a smile which could turn things around.....
I fully believe that mindset can change a person and in turn our community. Change does start with the individual but it is infectious. How much could you achieve by setting a goal, a target or a list? If we all think bigger we could achieve anything in ourselves, our children, our community and for our future. In a nutshell, I enjoy turning negatives into positives and see people become who they truly want to be.
