*UPDATE*

Hello vegsharers.

I am very sorry to say that the veg share boxes will not be going ahead for the time being due to complications with the guild surrounding the new Corona guidelines.

We are trying our best to sort this, and we hope it won't be long before we can start sharing local veggies.

We'll keep posting recipes so keep looking out! 🥕

Hello everyone!

Obviously not much has been going on with Exeter Veg Share recently, and we have no plans at the moment to run any more collections in the near future (or this academic year) - for obvious reasons, not least the closure of the university!

But we have 2 notices:

1) We are looking for a coordinator to run the project next year as part of BTC committee, and nominations are still open until midday tomorrow (Wed 6th) and you can nominate yourself here: https://www.exeterguild.org/societies/bethechange/

If you want more details, send a message to the current project lead Zoe Allen.

2) We were planning to run a bag return this term so people can return the reusable bags and receive their deposits bags - this obviously can't happen exactly as planned but keep an eye out if you still want to return your bag and get your deposit bag as we will try to figure something out!

Hope you are all safe and well, from the Veg Share team xx

We've had some feedback that people would like us to post what will be in the boxes before they order so for next week's box (pick up on the 11th):

The box is likely to include (***susceptible to change!!):
- Purple sprouting broccoli (300g)
- Cauliflower
- Carrots (1 kilo)
- Kale (300g)
- Onions (1 kilo)
- Beetroot (1 kilo)
- Tundra cabbage

This will probably be the final week of cauliflower and p-s broccoli.

The cost per box this week from Shillingford (wholesale price = what we pay) is 🥁 🥁 🥁 about £6.89

If you do have any feedback for us, be it good or bad, please do message us, we always want to know what we can do better - we are doing this for you guys after all!!
