Looks like traffic is building up at the Alibi garden…🦔💨! With the new Hedgehog Highway we hope to have some new visitors and keep the garden active.

The lovely sign was made by Meta, who visited us this summer, and also made our new Plant Stall sign.

Also, Sonia has left some sparkly clues around… more colourful and shimmering signs and art to come!

Join us this Saturday 10th at St Thomas Exeter Brillsville Market for our last market of the year! 9am-1pm. 🧺🪴

Since the Spring we emjoyed coming to the markets and pop-up sales around Exeter, meeting you, chatting and passing on our plants to all of you.
It’s also been great to spend time with and learn from other traders.

We would love to see you there one last time!!😊
We will have a selection of:
-Herbs (chervil, parsley, rosemary,sage,lovage, mint)
-Frills, wild rocket, chard, lettuce (flashy butter oak & devils tongue)
- Pak Choi (vibrant joy); cabbage (Baccalan de Rennes); Napa cabbage; Cima di rapa;Taunton Kale; Artichoke

As we finish our market season we will be getting our garden ready for the Winter and planning more activities to come….keep your eyes peeled. 👀

You can always come and join us at the garden on Thursday’s 11am-1pm for our volunteer session. 🙂💚

We are very happy to share that we have received a National Lottery Awards for All grant.

We would like to take a moment to thank all players for helping us to keep making our project possible!

With your support we are able to keep running our micro plant nursery and continue growing for the community 🥬🌸

The second edition of the walks co-organised with Exwick Local History Society, Wellbeing Exeter, Health Walks at Westbank, and us, as Zero Mile Gardens took place during the 1st Exeter Walking Festival last week, which also coincided with the Heritage Open Days.

In addition to information on Exwick's past landscape and economical activities, we also heard about the FLOW : A river orchard on the Exe and picked some almonds from the trees!

Market sales coming up this weekend!

Tomorrow, Saturday, we’ll be at St Thomas Exeter Brillsville Market and then at Garland@The Birdhouse CIC on Sunday.

We will have a selection of plants and herbs on sale:
-Herbs (chervil, parsley, rosemary,sage,lovage, mint)
-Frills, wild rocket, chard, lettuce (flashy butter oak & devils tongue)
- Pak Choi (vibrant joy); cabbage (Baccalan de Rennes); Napa cabbage; Cima di rapa;Taunton Kale; Artichoke

All our plants are grown at the Alibi garden at Emmanuel Hall from organic seeds and in peat-free compost.
