A really big thank you to the team from Johnson Service Group who volunteered yesterday. They worked incredibly hard, sowing lots of seeds, planting out and of course...weeding!

We would like to thank Cinch Storage Solutions at Exeter for their very generous storage unit donation. The unit will enable us to free up vital growing space at the Smallholding. Emma and Kirsten were so enthusiastic and supportive about the work we do at Sweetpea. Thank you so much for your kindness.

It was fantastic to recieve help from learners and staff at Oakwood Specialist College, part of Phoenix Learning and Care. Thanks to their incredible support we achieved lots at the smallholding.
We would also like to thank Exeter Chiefs, without their kind donation projects and partnerships like this would not have been possible.

We had some friendly little helpers this Easter sowing summer flowers and tomatoes. They were a great help....and they definitely enjoyed the payment of fresh cakes from Winkleigh farm 🎂 🤭.

We are incredibly grateful to the Exeter Chiefs foundation for their generous grant to support our CIC! 💚

Thanks to this funding, we’ve been able to take delivery this weekend of a huge batch of materials — sleepers (for disabled friendly raised beds), IBC tanks, 4 tonnes of compost, membrain and chippings (for disabled friendly paths) and much more — all helping us get fully prepared for spring.

This investment means we’re ready to welcome this year’s volunteers and get growing plenty of fresh fruit and veg for our community. 🌱🍓🥕

We truly couldn’t continue the work we do without grants like this. Your support makes a real, lasting difference — thank you for backing our project and believing in what we do.
