Because we're owned and run by the Community, it's our mission to go above and beyond to serve the people we live and work with. 🍓 The wait is over — our first Bretforton-grown strawberries of the year have arrived!

Freshly picked this morning and now in the shop, these delicious local strawberries are already making a name for themselves — you may even have spotted the Bretforton fruit farm on BBC Countryfile as part of Adam’s Farming Families.

📣Urgent notice to our loyal customers 📣
Unfortunately, we have recently been in receipt of a number of counterfeit banknotes. This is a very serious issue for us as a small community shop, as it has a big impact on our profitability and sustainability.

We want you to know that we have taken steps to protect ourselves going forward, and we're in the process of reporting these criminal offences to the police.

We’ve got some very exciting new arrivals landing on our shelves — and trust us, you’re going to want to try these…

First up, fresh craft ale cans bursting with flavour:
✨ Budding Pale Ale from Stroud Brewery – a beautifully complex pale with zesty citrus aromas, a sweet malt backbone, and a balanced grassy bitterness. Bonus trivia: it’s named after Edwin Beard Budding, the Stroud inventor of the lawnmower back in 1830. Cheers to that!

✨ Juicy IPA from Tap Social – criminally good beer (and we mean that in the best way). Brewed with a mission to support social justice and rehabilitation, this award-winning IPA (⭐️⭐️ at the Great Taste Awards!) delivers a smooth bitterness followed by waves of peach, passion fruit, and mango.

And last but definitely not least…
