Well done to all these young people from Lisbellaw and Tattygar Primary Schools who sang so beautifully at last night's service, when we remembered, with thanksgiving, the 130 young men and women from the area who served in the First World War, but who, by God's Grace, survived.

We would be delighted if you could join us this Sunday Evening ( 25th November ) at 7.00 for a Service of Thanksgiving commemorating the centenary of the end of the First World War. We will particularly remember those 130 men and women with Lisbellaw connections who served in that war, but in God’s mercy, survived.

Monday 9th October - Lisbellaw Methodist Church Hall at 8pm
'A personal reflection on 'The stories behind the stones', the Lisbellaw WW1 commerative book project, by Frank McHugh.
He will focus on the methodology (the process of checking all the relevant sources for each individual, bringing out the differences between searching for those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who served.) He will recall some of the interesting stories that he encountered as part of the project.
