Country music fans are invited to come together for a special Charity Country Dance in memory of the late Ken Kirwan, taking place on Friday, 13th November 2026, at the Station House, Letterkenny, in aid of Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny.

The evening promises to be a wonderful celebration of country music, bringing family, friends and music lovers together to remember Ken while supporting the invaluable work of Donegal Hospice.

Headlining the event will be country music legend Eamon McCann and his band, with guest performances from Norman Borland, Eddie Gallagher, Kenny Neely and other special guests. The evening will be hosted by compere Malcolm McDowell.

Alongside a fantastic night of live country music and dancing, there will be plenty of raffle and door prizes to be won, adding to what promises to be a memorable evening for a very worthy cause.

A particularly special part of the evening will see Edel, Ken’s daughter, undertake a sponsored head shave in support of the fundraising efforts. Edel is now accepting donations towards her sponsored head shave, and all support will be greatly appreciated as she takes on this personal challenge in memory of her late father and to help raise funds for Donegal Hospice.
