Free Community Breakfast Club Endon

As you all know I am on chemo round 5 of 6 and at the moment there is no physical/actual Free Community Breakfast Club happening due to my ongoing treatment but that doesn’t stop any help needed or donations being distributed; I just can’t mingle in certain situations. So yesterday the BC and Matthew’s Memory enlisted the help of the lovely Lorna to deliver another Easter Egg donation to Newfriars College as they are going to make sure that no child in the community goes without some chocolaty yumminess plus we threw in another tray for Lorna’s whole class; teachers included.
A massive thank you to Lorna for stepping in and helping out; you are a star ⭐️ just look at that smile! ❤️🐣

Today the Free Community Breakfast Club and Matthews Memory delivered Easter eggs for the residents of Hen Cloud House.
It is a lovely home that we have visited before.
Thank you to deputy manager Kirsten and Charlotte for accepting our donation, we hope that you all have a lovely Easter.
Hen Cloud also have their own regular community breakfast mornings; the next one is Tuesday 15th April (photo of leaflet in comments) ❤️🐣🥚

This weekend Matthews Memory has donated £100 and a bag of hairy rabbit ears to one of our favourite charities Pebbles Legacy Rescue. As always it was lovely meeting one of the many pooches that they help and the amazing Hilary.
Also after 2yrs of hard work collecting aluminium cans whilst litter picking and having a couple of drop off points Nunu has finally had them weighed in with the help of her friend John and donated the £100 to her chosen charity Baddeley Green Hedgehog Rescue Centre.
We are so proud of Nunu for her determination to help this wonderful charity out and the best reward was getting to hold one of the hedgehogs who will benefit at the centre. ❤️🦔🐶🐾💷

Just a quick thank you to whomever has saved all their aluminium cans for Nunu and the hedgehogs; unfortunately this has been postponed for the foreseeable due to 4 months of chemo.
Please don’t leave anymore until I am able to resume doing this.

The first few boxes of books and dvds that were donated to the Free Community Breakfast Club have gone to the British Heart Foundation this morning as we have so many.
Some of the childrens books are being donated to the Women’s & Childrens Refuge alongside some clothes, games, nappies, formula milk, toiletries and period products.
No point them sitting about gathering dust whilst I am poorly. Just because I can’t do the BC at the moment due to my health; it doesn’t stop me from helping others who need it.
Boxes of craft items have been given to the lovely creative Sandra Broad as her crafts bring so many smiles to people including the children who attend the Endon Little Learners Playgroup whom I know have already benefitted from this donation.
There are still plenty of books in and for our book swap located in Endon Village Hall. 🙂📚🧸🚂👖🧣👚🧤🧴
Thank you to everyone who continue to support me; I miss you all. I will be back.

Just to let everyone know that as I am about to start another round of chemo for 4 months there will be no Free Community Breakfast Club for the foreseeable.
