Grief and loss can feel overwhelming, and many people struggle quietly without knowing where to turn.

We offer compassionate bereavement support for those navigating loss, and we’re now welcoming sign-ups for our February 2026 course. The course provides a safe, nurturing space where individuals can explore their feelings and connect with others who understand their loss.

If you know someone who may be carrying the weight of bereavement (a friend, family member, neighbour or colleague) this could be a meaningful support for them. Please consider sharing this with anyone who might benefit.

🌿 National Grief Awareness Week 2025 - Growing with Grief 🌿

Organised by The Good Grief Trust, this year’s theme is Growing with Grief. It reminds us that while losing a loved one can feel like an ending in so many ways, over time grief can also become the soil where something new begins to grow.

We don’t return to who we were before the loss, but we gradually grow into someone shaped by love, memory and resilience. This kind of growth doesn’t remove the pain, but it gently makes room for hope to return.

In the new year, our church will once again be running The Bereavement Journey course - a safe, understanding space for anyone navigating loss.

📌 Dates will be posted here as soon as they are confirmed.

May comfort and hope find you in the days ahead. 💛

🕯️ World Su***de Prevention Day 🕯️

Today we pause to remember those lost to su***de, to hold space for the pain carried by those left behind and to shine a light of hope for anyone who may be struggling.

Bereavement through su***de can feel especially isolating - but you do not have to walk this path alone. The Bereavement Journey course begins on Tuesday 17th September at 10am, with one space remaining. Further courses will also run throughout the year for those who may wish to join at another time.

"We don’t heal in isolation, but in community.” – S. Kelley Harrell
