The Arkenstall village centre (AVC or just Arkenstall Centre) is located in Station Road, Haddenham, near Ely. It has three rooms available for hire including a large main hall and a stage. It also plays host to the village library access point providing a link to the county’s public library service for Haddenham and surrounding villages. The main business of the Arkenstall Centre is the hiring
of facilities for functions e.g. official enquiries, business meetings, parish council meetings, exhibitions, weddings and private parties. It is also extensively used for the annual springtime “Blossoms and Bygones” event. The Centre has a well-equipped kitchen and buffet lunches can be provided if required. It is the centre of village activities for local groups – art classes, exercise groups, drama groups, concerts and the village pantomime. Hiring rates, together with Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire, offering preferential rates to Haddenham community groups. Hiring fees are reviewed annually.
