We have had so much support from the village volunteers and the Wilburton Guides in making the new Community Hub garden a nice space to relax and spend time together! There is still more to do but we are on track to have it ready before the summer kicks into full swing!!
As ever we have had our morning fresh sourdough delivery from Neil, our meat from Harnwells, and cheese from Victoria. Don’t forget the Grimsby Fish Van will be outside the shop at 3pm which is always a highlight of the week! Good luck to the Wilburton Beer Festival this weekend. The weather looks like it’ll be perfect. More updates soon! 😊

Good morning everyone. We have a new loaf this week from Neil. It’s a classic Cypriot flavour combination all wrapped up in a white sourdough loaf – olives, halloumi and mint. We will have more tomorrow as usual.
Don’t forget the Grimsby Fish Van is coming at 3pm as well as the usual local products and every day essentials we always carry.

Good afternoon everyone! We have a new addition to our lovely selection from Victorias cheese this week. A lovely British buffalo mozzarella! We have plenty of other cheese, as well as sourdough bread, and meat from Harnwells. Also don’t forget the Grimsby fish van will be here at the Hub at 3pm. We are slowly working on the improvements to our garden and we should have more updates to share next week.

Work is now starting on our new garden! Thanks to everyone who donated to our fund! We’re really looking forward to having a nice outdoor space for the summer! Remember we have cold drinks, ice cream, sourdough bread, fresh meat, tasty cheese, local flour and honey and all the essentials for home.
Come and say hi to our wonderful volunteers and grab yourself a treat!

While we finalise the plan and the construction of our new garden outside the shop in time for the nice weather here is a message to tell you all we are open on weekends as well as bank holiday Mondays now! Our opening hours are 8-7 Mon-Fri, 9-4 Sat, 9-1 Sun and 8-2 on a Bank Holiday. We have plenty of ice creams and cold drinks for a lovely sunny bank holiday weekend as well as other treats and essentials too. Today we have fresh bread from Bread by Neil, Fresh sausages, bacon and burgers from Harnwells, salad items from Scott’s in Witchford and some lovely cheeses from Victorias cheese! Just what a weekend needs!

Hi everyone. I hope you had a great weekend! This weeks new addition from bread by Neil is the Parmy. He describes it as “a heady mix of parmesan, smoked garlic and rosemary in a white sourdough loaf”. If that sounds your thing we will have it on Wednesday and Thursday morning this week! As well as the usual white and wholemeal sourdough of course!!

We have now stocked both Harrogate Blue and Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire cheese from Victoria! We have also added Whispering Grass ale from Papworth Brewery on our shelves. Last but not least we have sorted an arrangement with a newspaper delivery firm to start papers again but only pre paid and preordered. Pop into the hub for further details and to register interest whether you want a paper every day or just a Sunday. Have a good Thursday evening and see you tomorrow.

Good afternoon folks! We are now fully stocked with Victorias cheese, Neil’s bread and salad and asparagus from Scott’s. Don’t forget the Grimsby fish van is arriving at the hub at 3pm.
Last but not least introducing our new ice cream freezer stocked with magnum, cornetto and Ben and jerrys cookie ice cream sandwiches!!
