Good morning all! We’re pleased to show you our new coffee machine which we have filled with Silver Oak coffee in our mission to support local! Please come and grab a coffee and a seat in our new garden! We’re also stocked up with Harnwells and Victoria’s cheese as well as all your other essentials! Don’t forget the Grimsby Fish Van will be here in the car park at 3pm as usual with fresh catch! 🙂

Hi everyone. We have a call for aid please! Our fabulous employee Agi is on holiday for the first two weeks of September (01/09 - 12/09) and we need more volunteers to help cover her hours. The shifts are 2-3 hrs only and you won’t be required to open or close the premises or do any heavy lifting, just take money and restock the shelves as things sell. If a bash at volunteering for your community business sounds up your street please get in touch! 🙏

The Grimsby Fish Van will be at the Hub today at 3pm after a week away. We area all stocked with ice cream, Neil’s bread and Victoria’s cheese as well as the usual essentials. Or if you just want to pop by and enjoy the air con for a few minutes it’ll be good to see you! 😂

In other news the benches are winging their way over to us and hopefully will be sited soon ready for summer. Our outside seating area and garden was funded by village donations and a grant from the lottery. More pictures once it’s all in place!

It’s almost time for Wilburton Car Show. Saturday 11th July on Wilburton Rec. We have cars, bikes and trucks. We have food vans, a bar and lots of stalls. It’s free to enter and starts at 12 midday. Hope to see you there!

The shop is fully stocked with Harnwell’s meat, Victoria’s Cheese, Scott’s salad and tomorrow morning we will have Bread by Neil sourdough and the Grimsby Fish Van at 3 pm. We have ice cream and cold drinks to help in the warm weather and all the usual village shop essentials. Our outdoor area is slowly coming together and we hope to show you the finished community garden and seating area soon!

We have had so much support from the village volunteers and the Wilburton Guides in making the new Community Hub garden a nice space to relax and spend time together! There is still more to do but we are on track to have it ready before the summer kicks into full swing!!
As ever we have had our morning fresh sourdough delivery from Neil, our meat from Harnwells, and cheese from Victoria. Don’t forget the Grimsby Fish Van will be outside the shop at 3pm which is always a highlight of the week! Good luck to the Wilburton Beer Festival this weekend. The weather looks like it’ll be perfect. More updates soon! 😊

Good morning everyone. We have a new loaf this week from Neil. It’s a classic Cypriot flavour combination all wrapped up in a white sourdough loaf – olives, halloumi and mint. We will have more tomorrow as usual.
Don’t forget the Grimsby Fish Van is coming at 3pm as well as the usual local products and every day essentials we always carry.
