Ely Pride Our goal is to promote visibility of the LGBTQ+ community via inclusive Ely Pride events, outreach and education.

🌈ARE YOU COMING TO PRIDE?🌈

We are going to have photographers and videographers on site, so if you wish to not be recorded, please ask for a yellow wristband from the entrance or info tent.

Everyone will do their best to avoid recording people who are wearing a wristband, but please understand this might not always be possible.

If you see any media person taking a photo of you and you are not ok with that, please let them know right away so they can delete it.

If you spot anyone taking a crowd photo, feel free to turn away.

Ely Harbour offers a safe and welcoming space for connection, care, and shared strenght.

On Pride Day, head to the bright pink gazebo opposite the stage to find:

✨ Information about Ely Harbour
✨ A safe changing space
✨ A space for 1-2-1 support with trained professionals
✨ A social space to meet others

🌤️ The weather is expected to be up to 30 degrees (most recently updated weather forecast!)

🥤 Make sure you stay hydrated. We have several stalls to purchase drinks from but bringing a water bottle is always a good idea.

🧴please ensure you wear sunscreen. Shade will be provided on site however
it's best to have it and not need it.

🤕 We have full medical provision on site. Should you not feel yourselves please head to the medical tent where you will be looked after by professional care providers.

🦺 If at any point you need assistance, our volunteers will be visible with high-vis vests or branded Purple t-shirts. We also have SIA security staff on site for the full event if you require them.

🐕‍🦺 We are dog friendly. You can find a dog water station at our information tent. Please ensure you clean up after them.

💰COSTS & FUNDING 💰

Have you ever thought about how we keep Ely Pride a free event?

It costs us over 25K to organise pride every year. Yep, no jokes!

Some of our biggest costs are non-negotiable: staging and entertainment, medical cover, toilets (including accessaloo).

We put together a free event we are very proud of, but it wouldn't be possible without all of our volunteers' hard work, donations & funding.

If you'd like to help us making sure that Pride happens again next year, please consider contributing next Saturday:

🔸 Buy something from our Pride Stall and Pride Bar
🔸 Try your luck with our raffle (tickets found at the pride stall)
🔸 Donate what you can on the day: we will have donation buckets around or you can donate by card at the Pride Stall.
