You’re Invited – May Meeting Farm Tour! 🐮

Join us on Wednesday 20 May for a fantastic evening at Charles Doubleday-Collishaw’s farm📍Sycamore Farm, Holbeach St Johns (PE12 8SY)

This event is open to members and non-members, so feel free to bring a friend along!

🗓 Date & Time:
20 May 2026, 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start
🐮 What to expect:
• Guided farm tour of a multi-award winning setup
• Great company
• Delicious hot beef rolls included
💷 Cost:
• Members: £10
• Non-members: £14
🥾Please wear suitable footwear for a working farm environment.

We would like to inform you of the sad passing of Vivien Church (wife of Michael Church). Michael and Vivien have attended Club functions together for many years.

Following a private cremation, a memorial service will be held on:

Thursday 12th March 2026, 1.00pm at The Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, CB6 3TB.

Followed by refreshments at:

Haddenham Social & Sports Club, Chewells Lane, Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, CB6 3SS.

Thoughts are with Vivien’s family and friends 🤍

ATTENTION: SHOW UPDATES 📯

Our Annual On-Farm Cattle Show is set to take place over the weekend of 20-22 March with TWO new classes added! Junior Stockperson (under 18) and Best Group of Fattening Cattle 🐮

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there has been a change to our Show Judge. Steven Martin, who works at Melton Mowbray Market and has vast experience showing cattle, will be taking the reins. As always, he will be accompanied by a member of the committee and a photographer throughout the weekend. 📸

Details of the show can be seen attached. Although we have requested individual tag numbers, please do let us know of your intention to enter so that we can organise geography and numbers - tag numbers can follow. Spaces are limited.

Don’t forget that the Presentation Dinner will be held on 24 April at the Maltings in Ely. ✨
