Good Morning!

Your small human should have come home from school with one of these this week.... Whilst their artwork can sometimes be questionable 🤪 these beautifully drawn christmas cards by your budding artists also raise money for the PTFA! (And from experience, go down very well with Grandparents, Aunties.. etc!)

The deadline to order online is the 12th October!

Welcome Back to the Autumn Term!

It's been a busy one whilst we all find our feet, but we're quickly headed towards our first event of the school year... our school disco! Martin is joining us again for singing, dancing and games. The link for tickets can be found here:

https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/Q55041J7

Or you're welcome to pop into the office if you'd prefer to pay by cash!

One thing we do need to ask - are there any parents who can spare an hour or so to help at the disco?! We're a small PTFA and with work commitments we're a little bit short on the ground if you could spare some time to help make squash and hand out snacks - please do let us know!

Wow, what a day! Thank you to everyone that came and visited us at the summer fair today. It was a really successful day, and we hope everyone had a great time! 🎉🍹🍔☀️

Big shout out to the following people:

🌟 All our wonderful performers that volunteered their time to come and put on some fantastic performances: Formations Dance Company, Stetchworth school of Irish dancing, K*k Sol and 4D.

🌟 To numerous local companies for their generous donations: The Crown, CB1 group, Carter street butchers and Ernest Doe (apologies if anyone forgotten off the list).

🌟To all stall holders for attending the event, and showing off your wonderful products.

🌟 Volunteer parents, staff members, and family and friends of the PTFA for helping us out, and
giving up their free time.

🌟 To the parents/families of Fordham Primary School for coming and supporting your school, and for bringing such a happy and positive atmosphere to the day!

Without all these people it wouldn’t be possible, so thank you from us all at the PTFA. You have directly positively impacted the school and the children that attend, and all monies raised will be used to enhance the children’s education (watch this space to hear how we allocate and spend this money)!

If anyone happens to have a clothes rail that they could donate to the fair at school today we would be most grateful! Our current one keeps collapsing. Or if not in time for today, for future use would be fab. Thank you, and can’t wait to see you all here 😀
