We did it🤩🤩🤩

The weather was on our side- the rain held off and 15 of us had a glorious walk to Wicken and back- nearly 6 miles in total ☀️☀️💛💛🧡🧡

There was a mix of generations, both old friends and new connections, lovely conversation and companionship ❤️❤️

Thanks so much to everyone who came and to everyone who has donated so far.

A huge thanks to James from Men Walking and Talking Ely for all his organisation and enthusiasm 💙💙

Such a lovely way to celebrate the collaboration of our projects!

Such lovely words from James at Men Walking and Talking Ely ❤️❤️

James has been a huge support to Good Grief Soham and it’s been a real privilege getting to know him. His commitment to Men Walking and Talking Ely is inspirational and we have had some of their members come to us for support too.

It’s a great collaboration and we are really looking forward to walking with James tonight 🤩🤩💛💛🧡🧡

We estimate the walk will be 45 minutes each way and we should be back at the theatre by 8pm.

This week (15th-21st June) is Loneliness Awareness Week
💛🧡💛🧡

Here at Good Grief Soham we meet people who feel lonely in their grief. This might because the person who has died is someone they rely on for emotional support. It could be that they don’t feel those around them understand what they are going through. It might be their grief causing them to feel anxious in social situations.

We can’t take the grief away but by listening and engaging in meaningful conversations we hope to help people feel a little less lonely ❤️❤️❤️

Feel free to join us at our next drop in this Thursday 18th June from 4.30-6.30pm at the Viva Theatre🧡💛🧡💛

Loneliness Awareness Week aims to open conversations about loneliness and reduce the stigma. Join us from 15 - 27 June 2026! Brought to you by Marmalade Trust.
