Tonight 🩵🩷

On Thursday one of our members, Rachel, will be hosting a small gathering of remembrance as part of the Wave of Light in honour of Baby Loss Awareness Week at Celandine View park in Soham, from 6.30-7pm.

Rachel says:

‘This is an open invitation - all are welcome, whether you have been directly affected by babyloss or know someone who has (we all do, whether we know it or not).

By lighting candles we let others know that they are not alone in their grief. 1 in 5 pregnancies end in loss, and at whatever stage that loss can be devastating.

It can also be quiet, lonely and isolating. By recognising the pain of baby loss and witnessing each others grief, we are bonded in community.

Thank you to everyone who attended our session today. It was lovely to see some new faces and for people to make use of our new crafts and library area 🧡💛

This poem was introduced to us by one of our volunteers and we gave out copies today so thought I would share it here in case it resonates ❤️❤️

Our dear Pets As Therapy dog, Nessie will be at Good Grief this Sunday 🥰

Nessie is very gentle and will not bother you if you’d rather not interact.
However if you would like to spend some time with her then you are very welcome ❤️💛🧡

We are starting our own little library at Good Grief Soham 🧡💛

We have been fortunate enough to receive funding to expand our resources here at Good Grief Soham so we are starting to purchase some books on grief, for both adults and children.

If you come along to a session and would like to borrow a book then all we ask for is contact details and a promise that you will return the book for the next session. 📚📚❤️❤️

The first books we have purchased will be on display at our session this Sunday 4th October from 1-3pm💛🧡
