Our next session is on Monday 19th October we would love meet other parent carers who support their children with special educational needs and disabilities. If that's you please feel free to come, take some for time out for yourself with refreshments and friendly folk. We care and we will listen.

As the autumn term starts so is Caring for Carers!

Our next support group in Ely is on 21st September and our team are so excited to welcome families back after the summer. So whether you are returning or looking at coming along for the first time you are so welcome.

The Caring for Carers team can't wait to meet again together with any parent carers of children with SEND for a chat and refreshments at our next session on Monday 20th July. It has been so wonderful to welcome people back and meet newcommers at all our sessions since we began in April.

Many of the team know first hand some of the pressures many people are facing nationally as they support their precious children and young people in their care.

Just this week at least one team member is actively advocating for their child on a health related matter with all of the paperwork, communications and barriers that come with it.

The solutions are not simple but there is strength in finding community with people who care and who understand.

At Caring for Carers you will find friendly non judgemental folk to spend time with whether you need to talk or just have lighthearted conversation with those that can relate.

Caring for Carers coming up again next Monday, we can't wait to see returning folk again and meeting newcommers! We are a relaxed friendly non judgemental drop in group where folk can chat care and connect with others facing similar situations.

We next meet on 18th May 10.30 - 12 noon
Come anytime 10.30 onwards to for a chat and refreshments. Bring along a friend or family member too if you like. Children welcome. We finish at 12 noon.
