📣 FESA NEEDS A NEW TREASURER! ❤️🤍

We’re looking for someone to join the FESA committee as Treasurer, working alongside our current Treasurer over the next couple of years before she leaves us when her child moves onto secondary school.

This is a really important role within FESA, but you won’t be expected to take it all on straight away! Our current Treasurer will be there to show you the ropes, help you learn the role and let you shadow her, so you can feel confident taking over when the time comes. This would be perfect for someone who is keen to help but perhaps can’t be available to do our events, as this role is flexible enough to be done in your own time!

💰 So, what does a PTA Treasurer actually do?

The Treasurer looks after FESA’s finances and helps keep everything organised. This includes things such as:
• Keeping track of money coming in and going out
• Keeping records of FESA’s income and spending
• Making payments and handling banking
• Helping with budgets for events and fundraising activities
• Keeping the committee updated on our financial position
• Helping make sure everything is accounted for and running smoothly

You don’t need to be an accountant or have any previous PTA experience - just someone who is organised, reliable and happy to learn. 😊

The Treasurer is a vital part of the FESA committee, helping us make the most of the money we raise for our school.

If you think this could be something you’d be interested in, or you’d simply like to find out a little more about what’s involved, please send us a message or email us at [email protected].

We’d love to hear from you! ❤️🤍

E C O D E L I 💚

Did you know?

Every Thursday from 3pm, we have our amazing Eco Deli in the shelter of the front playground!

Organised by FESA, we sell food from supermarkets that do not have much of a shelf life instead of it going to landfill!

Any food that we do not sell goes back into the community too, so it really is an amazing initiative! 🥰 It also brings much needed funds into the school via FESA to fund exciting initiatives like Opal play!

Last year alone we made £1500 in profit from the Eco Deli so a huge thanks to existing customers.

We also desperately need volunteers to keep this going! Please msg us if you can spare some time.

To use this fab service, sign up here 👇🏼 it only costs a pound for an annual membership!
