Ellington Welfare Social Centre Established Social Club. We are part of CISWO

The bar is open every night, 7 days a week and also Sunday lunchtime. New members are welcome.

Monday - Saturday 6pm till closing
Sunday 12 till 3pm and open again at 7pm till closing. Bingo and dancing in the Hall Saturday and Sunday evenings. Pop your name in the book behind the bar with the bar staff and it will go to the next committee meeting to be approved. Membership rates £3 per year paid yearly in January (additional one-off joining charge of £5 for membership/door card). We operat

e a door card entry system, as a member you will recieve your own door fob. Large Hall available to rent for private functions (you need to be a member to hire the hall)
£7 per hour without bar or £10 per hour with bar open. We have a fully equipped kitchen which can be used with the hire of the hall. To book the Hall - ask for details behind the bar or give the bar staff a ring any night. The Hall holds many clubs and activities during the week, details available on request or on the main notice board. Pool room with pool table and darts board.

It's an incredible 30 years since the first 'Tute Quiz'. Originally at The Plough, the quiz moved down to the Ellington Institute in June 1996 and it's been a popular ever since. Quiz masters have come and gone but Lee Taylor has been ever-present. Next Monday will be a special quiz to celebrate this achievement. The legendary half-time snacks will make a comeback for one night only and there will be additional prizes. If you've ever been to a Tute Quiz it would be great to see some old faces (and some new ones) Fun starts at 8.15pm
