Thinking about BELONG Boost? This is your sign... πŸ‘€
Over the last few weeks, we've been speaking to people interested in joining BELONG Boost, and we've been blown away by the response.
We've been inspired by people wanting to:
πŸ’œ Build confidence
πŸ’œ Improve their mental wellbeing
πŸ’œ Feel less isolated
πŸ’œ Get active again after a difficult period
πŸ’œ Meet new people
πŸ’œ Try activities they never thought they'd have the confidence to try
And honestly? That's exactly why BELONG Boost exists.
Starting at the end of June, BELONG Boost will bring together a friendly group of people for 12 weeks of movement, connection and new experiences.
Activities include:
πŸ›Ά Kayaking
🎾 Tennis
πŸ₯ Disc Golf
🏸 Badminton
🚴 Cycling
πŸ§— Climbing
πŸ“ Table Tennis & Pickleball
🚢 Weekly Wellbeing Walks
Plus a few surprises along the way...
You do not need to be fit.
You do not need to be sporty.
You do not need fancy kit.
You do not need to know anyone.
You just need to be willing to give something new a try.
We still have places available, but we're now beginning onboarding conversations and confirming participant places.
So, if you've been sitting on the fence wondering whether BELONG Boost might be for you...
πŸ‘‰ Now is the perfect time to get in touch.

This volunteer's week we want to celebrate the people who give their time to support us - for some it is every week others it's a one off but all make a lasting impact on the organisation.

Thank you

This is one person's reflection on their journey

Volunteering with Chapter through the Connect service has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has allowed me to apply the knowledge and skills I gained from my psychology degree while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
Throughout my time volunteering, I have developed invaluable skills and deepened my understanding through training opportunities such as Mental Health First Aid, Battle Scars, and, most recently, Peer Support Training, all of which are shaping my journey toward a meaningful career in mental health support.
I sincerely thank the wonderful team at Chapter for their warm welcome, encouragement, and support during my volunteering experience. Most notably, I am grateful to the service users I have interacted with, whose openness and resilience have greatly enriched and inspired this journey.

Feeling a bit stuck lately?
Maybe you've been meaning to get more active...
Maybe you've lost a bit of confidence...
Maybe your trainers have become very expensive slippers... πŸ‘€
If any of that sounds familiar, we'd love to introduce you to BELONG Boost πŸ’œπŸ§‘
BELONG Boost is a FREE 12-week wellbeing programme designed to help you move more, meet new people and discover activities you actually enjoy.

Just friendly support, gentle encouragement and the chance to try things like:
🚢 Wellbeing walks
πŸ’» Online movement sessions
🎾 Racquet sports
πŸ›Ά Paddle sports
🏸 New activities every week
Whether you're looking to improve your mental wellbeing, build confidence, feel less isolated or simply try something different, BELONG Boost could be for you.
And remember...
πŸ‘‰ You do not need to be fit to start.

You just need to be willing to take that first small step.
Because sometimes feeling better starts with saying:
"I'll give it a go."
