This is one person's reflection on their journey

Volunteering with Chapter through the Connect service has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It has allowed me to apply the knowledge and skills I gained from my psychology degree while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
Throughout my time volunteering, I have developed invaluable skills and deepened my understanding through training opportunities such as Mental Health First Aid, Battle Scars, and, most recently, Peer Support Training, all of which are shaping my journey toward a meaningful career in mental health support.
I sincerely thank the wonderful team at Chapter for their warm welcome, encouragement, and support during my volunteering experience. Most notably, I am grateful to the service users I have interacted with, whose openness and resilience have greatly enriched and inspired this journey.

Feeling a bit stuck lately?
Maybe you've been meaning to get more active...
Maybe you've lost a bit of confidence...
Maybe your trainers have become very expensive slippers... 👀
If any of that sounds familiar, we'd love to introduce you to BELONG Boost 💜🧡
BELONG Boost is a FREE 12-week wellbeing programme designed to help you move more, meet new people and discover activities you actually enjoy.
No gym memberships.
No pressure.
No judgement.

🛶 Paddle sports
🏸 New activities every week
Whether you're looking to improve your mental wellbeing, build confidence, feel less isolated or simply try something different, BELONG Boost could be for you.
And remember...
👉 You do not need to be fit to start.

A big thanks to and Archers Brook School who worked together with our friends to transform a grey concrete wall at our community garden The Haven. It wouldn't have been possible without the team so a big thanks to them too. Taking Action this awareness week to boost people's wellbeing

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week 💛

This is a reminder that mental health matters — every day, for everyone.

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
If you’re doing okay, check in with someone who might not be.

Small actions can make a big difference - from tiny shoots big things can grow

HE. DID. IT. 🎉🏃‍♂️
26.2 miles later… and somehow Ollie’s made it across the finish line (knees: questionable, spirit: unbreakable) 🙌
What an unbelievable achievement. Months of relentless training, running through pain, pushing past limits — and today it all paid off.
We’ve laughed along with , been inspired by the journey, and watched him give absolutely everything to this challenge. And now he’s officially a London Marathon finisher 💥

He said of his experience:
"It was one of the most amazing things with the crowds cheering you on, it was disgustingly warm and I definitely need new knees!!"

But this was never just about the run ❤️
Ollie took on this challenge for Chapter Mental Health — supporting local people who are struggling, people in our own community who need help, understanding, and support.
If you’ve been following along but haven’t donated yet… it’s not too late 👇
Let’s celebrate this incredible achievement by helping him smash that fundraising target once and for all.

Massive congratulations Ollie — we’re all so proud of you 👏
Now… maybe a rest day? Or at least a new pair of knees 😅
