Congratulations are in order for one of our community volunteers at Bridge Farm. 🎉
Dan, who has been volunteering at Bridge Farm since Autism Together took over the site in 2024, was recently awarded for his completion of the King's Trust programme, which supports young people to build the skills needed for the world of work.
As part of the course Dan undertook two weeks of voluntary work, which he completed at Bridge Farm, working in the café and also across the Bridge Farm site.
The graduation ceremony itself was at Cheshire Fire Service Headquarters in Chester. In attendance were the Lord Mayor of Chester and the Mayor of Ellesmere Port. Well done Dan!
👉 Do you know anyone who might like to become a volunteer, like Dan?
Bridge Farm are looking for more volunteers (Wednesdays to Fridays, 10am-3pm) to help maintain the site and gardens. The volunteer role would be suitable for anyone who has an interest in horticulture, gardening, team work, and conservation.
