🎁CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL 2026!🎁

Stanlaw Abbey Christmas Toy Appeal is officially open for 2026! We are starting things off early this year and our donation boxes are flying out and popping up across the area!🎉

This means that starting TODAY…
✅You can drop off your toy donations at Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre
✅More drop-off points will start appearing across the town

The deadline for all donations to be dropped off is
✨Friday 4th December✨

Why is the donation deadline early?...

We want to make sure that the children and families we support receive their gifts in time for the big day. Moving our deadline a bit earlier helps to make this happen and relieves some of the stress and pressure of those who are expecting gifts. Last year KidsBank packed Christmas referrals for 960 children in Ellesmere Port and Neston. This year we are preparing to support approximately 1150 children living in this area.

We couldn’t do any of this without your amazing love and support, and we would be grateful if you could bring all your toy donations before 4th December.❤️

🎁IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!🎁

We know it may seem a little early, but preparations for this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal are already underway!

Thanks to the incredible amount of generosity and support we received last year, we were able to provide thousands of gifts for children and families across Ellesmere Port and Neston, and we are preparing for another busy year ❤️

We are delighted to announce that we will be working alongside our charity partner KidsBank for the third year in a row, helping us to make Christmas brighter for children and families in our community.

🎁 KidsBank Chester are now open for professional referrals, and we’ve already started getting our donation stations ready to pop up.

🎄 We're pleased to announce that our Christmas referrals are now open. It may sound early, but at KidsBank our preparations have already begun!

We understand the financial pressures the Christmas season can bring, and it’s our hope to offer a helping hand to families who could do with a little extra support this Christmas.

🎁 This year, Christmas support is available through professional referral only. We love helping families at Christmas, and as the number of referrals grows each year, we know that working closely with our professional partners is the best way to ensure our support reaches the families who need it most.
A professional referral can be accessed by speaking to someone who may already support your family, such as your health visitor, keyworker, midwife, school teacher, family support worker or any other professional involved in your family’s care.

📢And please help us spread the word! Share this post with friends, family, schools, nurseries, community groups and anyone who may need to know about our Christmas support. Together, let's help make Christmas time special for every one.

🎉✨ Happy New Year — and what a way to end the year. THANK YOU! ✨🎉

As we step into a brand new year, we want to take a moment to look back and say one final, heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the Stanlaw Abbey Christmas Toy Appeal so special.
Here in Ellesmere Port & Neston, through the Stanlaw Abbey Christmas Toy Appeal working alongside KidsBank Chester, we supported 403 local families, reaching over 1,500 people — including 961 children and 575 adults — and gifting an incredible 10,503 items directly to children and families in our community.

These gifts were made possible thanks to over 5,400 toy donations received from the very kind people, organisations and businesses of Ellesmere Port & Neston and the surrounding communities THANK YOU! — which, alongside additional items sourced through the wider KidsBank campaign, allowed us to create full, meaningful gift bundles for every child.

This reel captures just a small snapshot of what made the appeal so special — the people, the smiles, the generosity, and the many moments of kindness that happened behind the scenes.
To everyone who donated a toy, hosted a donation box, volunteered time, spread the word, or supported the appeal in any way — thank you. You helped bring joy, comfort and magic to so many local families this Christmas. 💛

We’re incredibly proud of what’s been achieved together and grateful to start the New Year knowing our community continues to show up for one another.

🎄Behind the Scenes at the Christmas Toy Appeal🎄
From donations to delivery…

WOW! — what a few weeks it’s been.
We’ve now completed the huge task of counting, sorting and registering the thousands upon thousands of generous gifts donated to this year’s Christmas Toy Appeal😊. While the donation deadline has passed, the work is very much still ongoing 💪.

Right now, the elves at KidsBank are working flat-out in Santa’s Grotto (the fulfilment centre), carefully preparing all the gifts to ensure they reach children and families in need in time for Christmas.

Some of you left your names, others chose to donate anonymously — but every single one of you is helping change lives this Christmas. There are simply too many people to thank.
We couldn’t possibly thank everyone, BUT we’re going to try....
