What a way to bring our Black History Month tour of Our Crossing to a close!

Yesterday, we visited Northcote Primary School, sharing our work with over 120 Year 5 & 6 pupils!

It was a real privilege to share such personal stories of the Windrush pioneers, bringing their journeys, courage and contributions to life for the next generation.

A huge thank you to Northcote Primary School for welcoming us and being part of such a meaningful day. The questions, curiosity and engagement from the pupils made it an extra special way to end our tour!

The stories of the Windrush generation deserve to be heard, remembered and passed on.

What a wonderful day at B Road Park Junior School!

Today, we had the privilege of sharing Our Crossing, our Windrush Generation show, with over 240 pupils from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 as part of Black History Month.

It was such a wonderful opportunity to bring these important stories to life, celebrate the experiences and contributions of the Windrush generation, and give the next generation the chance to learn, reflect and ask questions.

A huge thank you to all the amazing pupils and staff for welcoming us so warmly. ❤️

We’re proud to share these stories, keep them alive, and inspire young people through Our Crossing.
