What an amazing week we have had here at Whispered Tales, three schools and over 600 children have watched Refuge Island this week. We have had so many meaningful conversations with young people and staff alike. Such thoughtful questions and discussions huge thanks to the three schools and lets hope this is the start to more creative projects in the future. Wellesbourne Primary and Nursery School Barlows Primary and St Teresa of Lisieux Catholic Primary Academy.

Another Monday and another two school visits. A huge thank you St. Silas and Longmoore Community School who made us feel so welcome and it was lovely to receive such a positive email when we got back to the office.

"I just wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for your powerful performance for our Year 5 and 6 pupils. The children gained so much from the experience. The way you have designed and presented the stories of the women was emotive, inspiring and deeply thought-provoking. It opened up meaningful conversations and helped the children develop new perspectives, as well as a greater sense of empathy and understanding. Olena is truly an asset to your company. Her bravery in sharing her own story was clear to see, and it added an especially powerful and authentic dimension to the performance. The pupils were deeply moved, and her courage made a lasting impression on us all."

As ever a huge thanks to Olena and all the women who have bravely shared their stories in this performance.

Here at Whispered Tales we're back in schools with our performance Refuge Island. A performance thst shares the importance of offering a safe place of refuge in times of crisis. We've had an amazing response from pupils and teachers alike. Just in the past two weeks we'e already reached over 1000 pupils. If you're a school in postcodes L9-L14 in Liverpool, feel free to get in touch to receive your fully funded performance and Q+A.
