Great news for the Back Park! 💜

We’re so pleased to let you know that the caterpillar play equipment has now been repaired and is back in place, ready for the children to enjoy from today! 🎉

After being out of action for quite some time, it’s fantastic to see it back where it belongs. We know lots of our little ones have been missing it! 🥰

ℹ️ Update ℹ️
Great news for our community! 👏

After local resident Sandra Gilchrist raised concerns about the lack of dropped kerbs in the area, Councillor Sandy Keith and the Lesmurdie & Kingsmills Community Group took the matter forward.

We're delighted to see that six new dropped kerbs have now been installed, along with fresh road markings at the existing dropped kerbs outside the Premier shop.

These improvements will make a real difference for people using wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and prams, helping to make our community more accessible for everyone.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen!
