As excitement builds around the World Cup, it's important to remember that major sporting events can sometimes lead to an increase in violence and abuse at home.

Abuse happens in Orkney too. It can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or where they live. Behind the celebrations, some people may be living with fear and control.
