Dont miss out on this great day, just a few places left.
We have our first ladies day of the season planned for Friday 13th March, at Orton. To secure your place, or find out more details, email [email protected].
The day will be on a rod sharing basis, where you will fish half a morning and half an afternoon, with the rest of the time spent in the lovely warm hut talking about all things fishing, catching up with old friends and making new friends. There is nothing like catching a 'Springer', so don't miss this opportunity 😀.

Wow, what a way to end the RSAA salmon season. We were so privileged to be be offered a day at Orton for a ladies day on Monday - just one day before the end of the season.

The day started crisp and cold, but expectations were high as fish were jumping all over the river. Sandy Howie had tied 3 flies for each of the ladies which they were delighted with.

9 ladies, novice to experienced, fished and the river didn't disappoint. 10 fish were landed ranging in size from 6 to 18 pounds and about the same number were lost. The ghillies Andy and Mark were exceptional - they certainly put the ladies in the right spots - they had a busy time with all the fish that were being caught.

The RSAA coaches and instructor were fantastic, helping the ladies and landing their fish - I think they had as great a time as the ladies. Pete Green landed a fish for Jo, and barely had time to catch his breath when there was another on the line. Both fish successfully landed.

Everyone ate lunch around a massive table in the brilliant hut and couldn't wait to get back on the river for the afternoon session.

Thank you To Orton Estate, Ghillies Andy and Mark , David, the RSAA instructor and all the RSAA coaches: Pete, Peter and Peter, Sandy, Cheyenne, Sue and Sue and last but not least, a big thank you to all the Ladies. You were stars!

BEST DAY EVER!!
