🚀 To all our Air Cadets receiving exam results today, and the parents supporting them!
As the big day is finally here , please remember that your worth is not defined by letters on a piece of paper. In the Air Cadets, you learn leadership, resilience, teamwork, and discipline—qualities that no exam can truly measure!
🌟Many incredibly successful people—including those who went on to lead great adventures or shape British culture—didn't get the straight As or top Highers they expected:
Lorraine Kelly: The iconic Dundee-raised television presenter and journalist turned down her university place to work straight away, proving that traditional academic routes aren't the only path to the top.
Sir Billy Connolly: The legendary Scottish comedian, actor, and musician left school at age 15 with no academic qualifications before working in the Glasgow shipyards and finding global fame.
Bear Grylls: The ultimate survival expert and former SAS trooper openly shares that he wasn't naturally brilliant at school and failed exams along the way.
What matters most is how you navigate the turbulence, learn from the setbacks, and adapt to the journey ahead.
To our Cadets: Whatever the envelope says, we are already incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and everything you achieve in uniform. You have the tools to fly high, no matter the route you take. 🧭
To our Parents: Thank you for guiding them through the stress of revision and exams. Your support is their ultimate safety net!
