A low-emission vehicle. A youth climate project. An energy-efficient village hall. LED lighting. A community gardening space. Solar panels. Electric power tools. A wheelchair just for the beach.
These all started as ideas.

Thanks to the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund, they've become projects that are helping Moray communities reduce their environmental impact while delivering lasting benefits for local people.

Since 2022, over Β£1.4 million has been invested in Moray through this fund, supporting everything from energy-saving upgrades to low-emission vehicles and youth climate initiatives.
This year, another Β£333,333 is available for community-led sustainability projects in Moray.

Got an idea that could make a difference?

Come along to one of our information sessions (there's one in person, and on online - just pick what you'd prefer) and find out how to apply and turn your vision into the next local success story!
