❄️ The start of this year’s Winter Entertainment Programme! 🎶
The 25 Rotary Revellers entertained the residents of Chandlers Court on Tuesday afternoon, where they were warmly received by their audience.

They were joined by John on cello, Helen on keyboard and George on violin, whose wonderful musical contributions added an extra sparkle to our programme.

Keep an eye out over the next few months to see where else we go and who else will entertain during this year’s Rotary Winter Entertainment Programme! 🎻🎹🎵

🇳🇵 Nepal Disaster Appeal Update 🇳🇵

Last week, Rotary Club of Elgin received a message from Chhongba Sherpa of Rotary Club of Boudha, Nepal, along with a Certificate of Appreciation recognising the generous financial support provided by Rotary Club of Elgin and our community to communities directly affected by the flash floods in Rasuwa.

Thanks to your incredible support, 12 affected families each received NPR 40,000 (approximately £200) to help them recover from the devastating floods, rebuild their lives, and support their children’s continued education.

🚁 Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA)🚁

Clive gave us a fascinating insight into the vital, life-saving work of SCAA and his personal connection to the charity.
With helicopters based in Aberdeen and Perth, SCAA provides rapid emergency medical care across Scotland.
Since 2013, SCAA has responded to 7,803 callouts, attending everything from serious hill accidents to medical emergencies involving children.
Clive also highlighted the growing financial challenge of keeping this vital service flying, with annual funding needs expected to rise from around £10 million to £15 million by 2030.
A truly inspiring presentation showing just how much of a difference SCAA makes when every second counts. ❤️🚁

The enthusiasm was infectious last night as Heather and Georgie shared their amazing RYLA experience and gave us a glimpse of what makes this leadership camp so special!

From raft building, mountain climbing, coasteering and rock climbing to inspiring speakers and team challenges, every day brought something new! 🧗‍♀️🌊

They informed us that their experience at the camp boosted their confidence, built friendships and created memories to last a lifetime. ❤️

Now Heather and Georgie are passionate about encouraging more young people to take part and discover what they can achieve. 🌟

Adventure. Confidence. Friendship. Leadership. That is what RYLA is all about! 🙌
