As the season comes to a close and the New Year begins, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas lights this year.

Whether you visited for the first time, returned again from previous years, donated, shared posts, or simply offered kind words of encouragement, it all meant more than I can say. It was also lovely to welcome so many new faces along the way.

Thanks to your generosity, a total of £608.28 was raised for Cash for Kids, helping support children and families in our local area. That figure is something to be really proud of, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

This year we’re hoping to grow the display even further, and once things get underway I’ll be sharing progress updates as the year goes on.

Thank you again for making this season such a special one. Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year.

The lights will be shining again tonight from 5pm until 8pm, with just two nights left to enjoy this year’s display.

If you’re heading out to see Christmas lights this evening, feel free to pop by. And if you’ve got your own lights up at home, or have a favourite display you’ve visited this year, feel free to pop it in the comments — it’s always great to see and share a bit of festive inspiration.

A special thank you to Ramsay for the card and chocolates. We’ll be enjoying those, along with the many other chocolates, over Christmas. 🎄

If you’re out and about later, feel free to stop by and enjoy the display. Thank you to everyone who has visited so far and helped us raise funds for Cash for Kids — your support really is appreciated.

Did you know you can also donate by text?
Simply text GLOW followed by a space and the amount you’d like to donate (between £1 and £20) to 70580.

The lights will be back on tonight from 5pm to 8pm, helping us raise as much as we can for Cash for Kids.

Just 8 evenings left of the lights this year.

If you haven’t managed to visit yet, there’s still time to come along and enjoy the display. The lights are on every evening from 5pm until 8pm, right through until Christmas Eve, and as always it’s completely free to enjoy.

Any optional donations continue to support Cash for Kids North Scotland, helping children and families locally. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re popping back again, you’ll be very welcome.

Unfortunately the card reader has stopped working, so for the moment card donations aren’t available at the display.

For anyone who has asked about donating by card, I’ve set up a JustGiving page instead, which I’ll link here. As always, the lights are completely free to enjoy and there’s never any expectation to donate — this is simply an option for those who wish to support MFR Cash for Kids.
