Hello, I'm Crystal (she/her), originally from Canada. I relocated here about five years ago, and have made the Moray area my home. I currently run a small business with my partner and I am an amateur photographer. I have both family members and close friends who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I am very passionate about supporting, encouraging, and helping my family, friends, and the community. In my role of "Allyship Coordinator", I will be focusing on support and education for all ally's, such as family members, friends, local businesses, and the communities within Moray. I look forward to learning from my team while helping other's develop their own roles as ally's within the community.

Dear members of the LGBT+ community in Moray,

Vicky here, chair of the charity, before we start a new week, I wanted to address an issue we have had regarding the use of generative AI.

While I am chair, Pride In Moray (PIM) is and will always be an AI artwork free zone, I am a graduate of the Royal Conservative of Scotland which is a creative university, which you may know neighbours Glasgow School of Art, I am against art theft to my core, additionally climate action and sustainability is a value I hold strongly.

From today, we will cut no corners, which is what lead to accidentally using a programs machine intelligence - not intentionally using an AI programme. I pledge to add ‘being green’ to our agenda, and will commit to including or consulting with a green co-ordinator/advisor to keep us accountable at all times.

We are a very small group of volunteers, trying to create something for you, and for our community, please stick with us, let us get our feet under the table, and start to build your trust in us as your brand new GREEN CONSCIOUS board.

A big thank you to Findhorn Bay Arts for inviting us to join the Cultural day celebrations at Grant park this past weekend. We had such a great crowd, we met alot of new people, and even had a few sign up for volunteering for future events. Our silent disco tent was a hit with the young and old, and thanks to all who stopped by for a dance. A very big thank you to Granny Tina for your amazing homemade Scottish tablet, it was a huge crowd pleaser! With all our merchandise and tablet sales we raised a whopping £266!! All proceeds will go to Pride in Moray and help us continue to support our communities Moray wide! Thank you again to all, stay tuned to our Socials for upcoming events!
