Royal Holloway Volunteering supports students and staff to get involved in volunteering in the community and beyond through Community Action, Social Action, Community Research, Volunteering Abroad, and Sports Volunteering. If you would like to get involved as a volunteer in the local community then simply sign up with Royal Holloway Volunteering to be kept up to date with all the latest opportunit

ies, events and activities. Student-led projects have their own Facebook groups to organise their activities. These will provide you with further information, and put you in contact with the project leaders. So if you're interested in being an active volunteer for specific initiatives then make sure you join the group. Some groups are private groups but please do ask to join if you'd like to be involved, and one is secret so if you can't find it then email [email protected] with a request to be invited to join. Happy !

Thanks to everyone who stopped outside the Volunteering Hub to choose a book from our free Book Exchange in today’s sunshine 🌞 All books are *free* but in return we ask that your drop back any unwanted books once you’ve finished with them 📚

Today is also Aly’s penultimate day! Here she is with Louise, dressed as the Hungry Caterpillar after volunteering at a local school this morning (minus antennae!).

Do pop by the Volunteering Hub tomorrow, Friday, to say goodbye to Aly! We will miss Aly so much and thank them for the massive support they have provided us over the years - for the past six months as our Graduate Intern, but prior to that as one of our Hub Assistants. Aly has been integral to the support of our student-led social action projects and comms amongst many other random things - including the launch of our popular !
