A huge thank you to all the sellers and buyers who came along today to support the May 2026 Carboot.

Special thanks to the Edzell Primary School Parent Council, Stracthro Primary Parent Voice and Edzell Toddlers for hosting the event.

Thankfully the rain stayed off and the sun was shining.

It was a very busy one as always, and we really appreciate all the volunteers who gave up their time to make it happen.

That’s come around quickly!

It’s time to clear out those sheds, cupboards, lofts and under the beds…… we need your donations for the Village Jumble Sale!

We’re looking for items such as:

🧸 Kids’ toys & games
🚲 Outdoor toys, bikes & scooters
🏡 Homeware & small electricals
🪴 Rugs, curtains & cushions
🧺 Baskets & picnic items
🐾 Pet beds, leads & toys
🌱 Plants & pots
🎟️ New items for our tombola table

There’s something for everyone, so if you think someone else could make use of it, we’d love to have it!

⚠️ Please only donate clean, usable items — no broken goods please.

If your child has not picked up their seed potato from the Charity Shop yet, please pop in before they’re all gone. The potatoes should be entered in the Flower and Produce Show in August where they will be harvested and weighed to see who has the best yield. Good luck to all those that have already planted their tatties. 🥔 🏆 🏵️

🔔 REMINDER – EDZELL VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT SOCIETY AGM 🔔

Join us on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 7:30pm at Inglis Memorial Hall, Edzell.

We’d love to see as many faces as possible - and we truly need your support. Our committee is looking for new members to step forward and help keep our village events and activities alive. Without volunteers, the fabulous events that bring our community together simply can’t continue.

Come along from 7:00pm for a friendly pre-AGM cuppa and biscuit, have a chat, and get to know others in our wonderful community.
