As we head into October, we'd usually be saying the weather is getting colder, but 20 degrees today means putting those winter coats away!

And an extra ten minutes in our outdoor sessions to play and learn - rather than piling on the waterproofs, gloves, hats and all the other extras needed for some fresh air fun in October! Long may it continue.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged with real openness and curiosity, developing a deeper understanding of how the brain responds to stress, emotions and relationships.

Our Intro group isn't just about introducing you to Stepping Stones - It's a way into our Young Parents Group, what we're about and a way for us to introduce your little one to our childcare option for this group, for them to get settled in so that when you come to the Group each week, your little one is settled and you can enjoy what the YPG offers and relax a little knowing you wont have to jump up or keep a watchful eye.

Through our group work programme, young parents get the chance to think about their own goals and aspirations, have a laugh, meet other parents, learn new skills, build confidence and just have some time for you.

We're keeping it simple this Thursday morning and letting you know were for you if:
You love a warm welcome, baby cuddles, and meeting other parents. You like snacks and a good chat. English isn't your first language, or it is.

If you're looking for a space to feel heard and meet other parents, from pregnancy all the way through to teens, we're here for you and we have some amazing groups and events happening throughout the year.

We provide childcare for our Tuesday Parents Group so that you can actually relax!

We have parent groups four days a week (Monday–Thursday), creating a relaxed space where parents can meet others, build confidence and spend some time focusing on themselves too.

So much of what we do at SSNE happens outdoors. Fresh air, hands-on play, a different kind of learning than sitting at a table.

We have so many different options with our groups - play and learning suitable for different ages and a chance for parents to get together as well as groups for the little ones, to find out more drop us a DM or head to the website.

Our Family Drop In sessions are for families who have children not yet in nursery - so little little ones!!
These sessions are at The Haven Project on Wednesday mornings at Craigroyston Primary School.

Our Family Hub Drop-Ins are a space where children can explore, play and socialise whilst parents and carers can get support, advice and connect with other parents in a relaxed space.
