All at Queensferry Care are very happy that Amelia, one of our student volunteers has been recognised through the Ron Ainsworth Award.

Last night was the annual Ronald Ainsworth Founder Trophy Award, presented by Sheena Ainsworth and Elizabeth Mackenzie to deserving young people of South Queensferry, these were :-

Amelia Henderson won the Ronald Ainsworth Founder Trophy for volunteering at the QCCC. She has a warm and caring nature, a great sense of fun and folks at the Haven were delighted when she made them all homemade felt craft gifts for Christmas. She is going to attend Dundee University to study medicine hoping to become a Doctor in the future.

Jake Watson was presented with the Ronald Ainsworth Certificate of Recognition for his services to the Sea Cadets and the wider Community. He consistently demonstrates his deterrmination and ambition and embraces new challenges. He has developed into a thoughtful dependable and a positive young person who is respected by his peers and adult volunteers alike. His perseverance kindness and committment to others serve as an example to those around him.

We’re now taking bookings for stalls at just £15 per table. If you’ve had a stall with us before, we’d love to welcome you back, and if you’re new, we’d love to hear from you too.

Whether you create handmade gifts, artwork, jewellery, homeware, baked treats or something completely unique, we’d love to help showcase local talent.
