Can you play until the cows come home? Pianists sought to soundtrack my life drawing sessions at this Fringe. Wednesdays 8-10pm. Pedal down, wishy washy watery with a healthy dose of crunchy chords. Less Einaudi, more Nils Frahm 🙏

Here we go again! Wednesdays 12/19/26 August, 8-10pm at the in their gorgeous church venue. ÂŁ10/15/18 (+ÂŁ1.50 fee per ticket).

Join us for two hours of relaxed life drawing within one of the most stunning spaces in town. We’ll bring beguiling models for your drawing delight, beautiful live piano music and lots of materials to buy and borrow. No need to know a pencil from a pen!

Reconfigure is a warm spirited, all abilities life drawing group established 2016 in Edinburgh. The Pianodrome is a venue and a giant sculptural musical instrument. Crafted entirely from discarded pianos: it is an intimate, cocooning amphitheatre of 100 seats, with five playable pianos embedded into its very structure.

I’m using this gorgeous film from a few years ago because it perfectly captures the feeling of the space. Can’t wait to welcome you back.

The Reconfigure playlists; more than just a good selection of tunes- they paint a picture of my mood that week, a summary of my feelings. And playing at life drawing almost feels like being witnessed! It’s only taken me almost ten years to realise why I am so obsessive about curating a new list every single week.

Life model training workshop | 18th Jan 9.30am-12 | in ’s beautiful space | £20/27, 3 free spaces for BIPOC/trans participants.

Learn look at your poses the way artists will look at you. Learn to lean into your body’s creativity. Learn about the edges of your stamina. We will be posing in real time and drawing each other (no need to be good at drawing). Learning by doing, experiencing, reflecting.
