💙 Donate through a Gift of Shares 💙

Did you know that donating shares is a tax‑efficient way to support Care & Repair Edinburgh and help older people across our city live safely and independently?

If you have a small number of shares that are difficult or uneconomical to sell, ShareGift can help. They combine and sell these shares and, if you choose, donate the proceeds directly to us. Larger shareholdings (over £500) can also be donated and are usually sold immediately.

✨ There is no cost to you or to the charity.

You can also transfer shares directly to Care & Repair Edinburgh via your stockbroker or investment platform. In most cases, this allows you to claim income tax relief and exemption from capital gains tax.

Many of our clients choose a Supra C500 KeySafe to make it easier and safer for trusted family members, carers and support services to access their home when needed.

What many people don't realise is that the key safe uses a combination of 12 buttons that can be turned on or off as part of the code, giving more than 4,000 possible code combinations. This flexibility helps users choose a code that works for them while maintaining security.
