LINKnet Mentoring LINKnet a pioneer in a one to one mentoring support to those who are looking for jobs, further education or wanting to develop knowledge and skills.

We also help ethnic minorities with our NINT project and Eat Well for Oral Health. LINKnet Mentoring supports people from minority-ethnic communities in Edinburgh and surrounding areas to improve their English, find a job, or continue their education. LINKnet provides a range of services, based around one-to-one mentoring. A mentor works one-to-one with an individual — a mentee — to help them achi

eve their goals. Mentees who have recently arrived in the UK can also learn from their mentor about life in Edinburgh. LINKnet matches each mentee personally to a mentor who can provide the support they need. LINKnet also provides a drop-in service, voluntary work placements, recruitment consultancy, IT training, English lessons, and, through Jump In!, cultural inclusion events and activities.

We’re excited to launch LINKnet’s Free Online English for Employment Programme, a fantastic stepping stone for people from ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh who are looking to improve their English and boost their employability skills. 💼🗣️

This programme combines English language development with job readiness training, helping participants gain confidence in communication and prepare for the world of work.
