Successful first event at Castle Semple SC. Next event at Lochaber SC Fort William next weekend 9/10 May, time to get your entries. Some of the best reaches to be had across Loch Linnie see you there.

Four visitors arrived at Castle Semple SC near Lochwinnoch on Friday afternoon to prepare their boats for the first event of the 2026 Scottish Challenger Travellers Series. The bright sunshine and mirror flat water suited the wild swimmers better.

This is our second event in the Traveller Series this year which takes place in Loch Linnhe at Fort William. A fabulous location and very friendly club which is a great favourite with our sailors.

We have been asked by Hamish Louden of Lochaber Yacht Cub to pass on this urgent message

"Could you please urge your members coming to Fort William for the event on 9/10 May to start making accommodation books now.
Sat 9th May is the last day of the Scottish Six Days motorbike trials so space in local accommodation will be scarce."
