Our Compassionate Neighbours, Compassionate Gardeners and Spiritual Care volunteers enjoyed a wonderful morning at last week.

From a mindful woodland walk and meaningful conversations to a fascinating castle tour, tea, coffee and cake, it was a chance to slow down, connect and enjoy being together.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to the Ogilvy family, Johanne and Neil, Head Gardener, for making us feel so welcome and helping make the visit possible.

As our volunteers put it:
"This is exactly what I needed." & "A magical place and a peaceful time of awareness."

We were delighted to be invited to The Scottish Parliament as part of Hospice UK Hospice Care Week, where we joined hospices across Scotland to help send the message that 'Hospice Care should not be left to chance'.

It was our privilege to be joined by Holly and Emily, whose mum was cared for at the Hospice. We're so grateful to Holly for sharing their heartfelt story with everyone in attendance last night.

Today we celebrated one of the highlights in the Hospice calendar, the Volunteer Long Service Awards! CEO, Jackie Stone hosted the awards ceremony, with an afternoon tea provided and served by !

This year we were recognising over 800 years of voluntary service to the Hospice from those receiving awards, with the longest serving Volunteer having been with us for 35 years!

The Hospice truly couldn't do what we do without our phenomenal teams of volunteers, who have contributed over 60,000 hours of time, worth over £1,100,000 in the last year alone.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, we couldn't be more grateful for all that you do!

This year's exhibition will be showcasing works from more than 80 artists across painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and more. A minimum of 50% of proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Hospice.
