The Citadel

Here for children, young people and families in Leith since 1980 The Citadel has provided community-based youth work in Leith since 1980.

We are an experienced voluntary organisation with strong links to local people and partners. Our flexible, community-based approach provides young people, families and individuals with learning, leisure friendship and access to adults who care and who can do something to help whenever it is needed. Our open access youth clubs, projects and individual support are all designed to meet the needs of t

Unfortunately due to staff sickness we are unable to do our part of the organised march. We have contacted the young people who had expressed interest doing it with us.

If you do attend the march check out LGBT Youth Scotland Pride Youth Hub at 1 Lauriston Place. A safe space for all LGBTQ+ young people and Allies ✌️ Our friends at The Junction - Young People, Health and Wellbeing have an amazing stall there so make sure to say hi 👋

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Come and visit us at Leith Gala this Saturday!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Collette and her team of wonderful parents have been busy preparing some handmade goodies to purchase at Leith Gala.

Think Tshirt Galore, Scotland / World Cup 2026 goodies, Teachers thank you gifts, Fathers Day pint glasses, Jewelry, Candles... all this and MUCH MORE!!

We'll also be hosting a MEGA tombola (you need to see it to believe just how MEGA!), A Lucky Dip, Guess the birthday/sweets/name. Its ALL going on!!

Look out for The Citadel stall this Saturday 13th of June. We will be there 10-5, but get there quick to get your hands on the goods. Once its gone, its gone!

All proceeds to towards helping clubs and groups at The Citadel 🎊

Thank you so much to all our marathon runners past and present (and future 👀)!

This year, our half-marathon runner, Kerrie, has sadly had to pull out due to injury, but is still planning to run a half-marathon at a later date once she's recovered.

Two of our staff members are also running for different important causes! Wishing everyone the best of luck and a sunny run!

We're sure you'll smash it (whenever your time comes)! 🥳
