It is an idea that has been put together by Total Craigroyston, Muirhouse Link Up & Circle Scotland
It will:
• Help us to build on the biggest asset the community has – its people
• Give us the opportunity to take participation & volunteering to the next level by providing training, support & other activities for & with local people so that more leaders develop wi

thin the community
• Be directed by local residents themselves, initially through a series of “Conversation Café” type events so that IDEAS can be gathered! The expected impact will be:
• That people can have a bigger influence on the development of services
• More opportunity for local residents to gain skills to take up jobs
• More ability for local residents to develop their ideas about making improvements to the area
• Greater confidence
• Self-determination.
